Bull went in for his amputation yesterday. We going to pick him up tonight. Vet said he did well during surgery. I’m excitied and aprehensive about seeing him! I hope he’s not mad at us for leaving him there and getting amputated. But on the other hand I’m excitied to help him with his new challenges. I’ll keep you posted on how our first day post op goes. Try not to assume Bull is “mad” at you for anything when he comes home. Dogs live in the now, and if you remain calm and balanced when you welcome him home, and treat him as if everything is normal (no mater what he looks like), all should be fine.
